My First Sunday of Virtual Training
Today was the first Sunday of my virtual training, which was held on Zoom. I was nervous to see if I had set everything up correctly according to the joining instructions I received a few days ago. But in the end, I shouldn’t have been nervous because everything went smoothly.
There were 26 of us in the Zoom session, and everything worked perfectly. The training ran from 9 AM until 5 PM, with a lunch break and a few tea breaks. Simon, the trainer, gave a great overview of the course ahead and answered all the questions we had.
Day One – What Did We Cover?
After introductions and getting everyone settled, we jumped straight into Cyber Security Fundamentals, followed by Networking Fundamentals.
By the end of the day, my brain was fried—it’s been many years since I last had to study! It was a lot of information, so I’ll need to put in some study time before the next session to really lock that knowledge in.
Overall, I’m really impressed with my first class!
